A new restaurant, a movie with too much popcorn, festivals, car shows, street fairs — if there's a reason to leave the house, I'm probably already there.

I budget for travel before I budget for anything sensible. Exotic when the timing lines up, a spontaneous day trip when it doesn't — always chasing the next stamp, trail, or ticket stub.

Eating Well, Mostly

Mediterranean at home — olive oil, fish, vegetables, bread I pretend is a garnish. I cook most nights, meal-prep on Sundays, and eat out about once a week. Coffee's homemade on weekdays, but I'll always choose the local shop over a chain.

Retire early enough to mean it. A house on a lake someday. Painting and pottery lessons — the jumbotron doesn't get all the creative credit.
